I'm hoping that because I'm giving away this stuff for FREE, the moderators will not decide that I need a higher level of membership because it should be in the "for sale section"... we shall see...
Having moved house recently I need to give some stuff away FREE, ALL SPARES OR REPAIRS or else it will bound for the tip....
1) BEOCENTRE 9000. I was given this by a local B&O store a couple of years ago. The CD cover motor had been removed... I purchased a new one and had it fitted by Tim Jarman who also checked that everything was working OK which it was. The glass panels were loose which I intended to fix myself, but never got round to it ... It's been in the garage for about 18 months. in the meantime it would appear I've managed to lose one part of the 8 plastic strips that hold the glass in place.....
2) Pair of Beovox S55s. Very nice cosmetic condition but the bass drivers need re-foaming
3) Pair of Beovox Pentas Passive. Good cosmetic condition. One or two snicks in the fabric covers. Midrange drivers need re-foaming.
All 3 are very dusty but underneath the dust, cosmetic condition is good / very good.

This pair of S55s really are in great condition - layer of dust on them but underneath they're just about mint. They do need a refoam though.
I'd be really interested in the S55s but I'm the wrong side of the country. Would you consider boxing them up if I was to arrange a courier to collect them? I'd be happy to send you a couple of boxes and a large roll of bubble wrap if that helps?

Yes, but..... I'm going to get them french polished and the stands re-sprayed in about a month so they're in absolute top condition. I maybe daft, but I just like selling stuff that's in as good as condition as possible. They're the actual pair that were photographed for the reference sections on both Beworld and Beocentral and formally owned by Peter. I'm absolutely gutted to be selling them, but the new house just ain't big enough
Watch out for them in April on fleabay!

Just to say a public thankyou to Nigel (and his friend whose garage they were in!) for being kind enough to hold onto the Pentas for me until I could collect them last weekend.
I'm still at the "gazing adoringly at them" stage at the moment - I really must order the midrange surrounds and move onto the 're-foam and enjoy' stage!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Nigel for the pair of S55's and in particular for finding space in his car and dropping them off to me in Exeter on his way to Cornwall. I hope you enjoyed you holiday.
Certainly did thanks Martin. Thanks for your advice to go to Cadgwith - had a nice couple of pints of Tribute there!
And speaking of pints, when are you going to pick up the 9000, Nick?
anytime your free I'll pop by and collect. Be good to meet up for a beer though, do you ever go to the poppy & pint??
