Frederik,
We normally write £5 for "five pounds", and not 5£. Could you therefore please confirm - are your prices in Pounds Sterling, or Euros?
Mark
Hi Mark. Thanks for the reply. € or £ it does not make a huge difference. If you are interested in some items then let's just say €
I was going to ask you to quote for a Beocom 2 or 6000, wall charger and Beoline. However, I've now been warned that the Danish configuration is different to the UK one, which sadly suggests that it could be a problem. :(
You should just need an RJ11 socket to BT plug adapter and Danish phones will work fine in UK. Also you need to be aware that you cannot change the menu from Danish to English on a Mk1 BC6000.
I was thinking more of the DECT frequencies potentially being different, since I would want to add UK Beocom phones to the setup at a later date. Also, the Beocom 6000 page at Beoworld implies that he Danish Beocom 6000 uses standard DTMF, whereas the GB variant uses standard FSK.
Alternatively, are the country variants just concerned with initial configuration, which the user can easily change?
Thank you for the comment on the Mk 1 BC6000. I think that I ought to be looking for a 6000 Mk2 or a Beocom 2.
Hello Mark. I have a bunch of MKII BeoCom 6000's and they have English menus as standard. You will just need a RJ11 to BT-line going from the splitter to your phone socket. I have sold plenty of BC 6000's and 2's to UK residents without any complaints. Let me know and we can arange for a deal. Best regards, Frederik
I have both Danish and UK BC6000 Mk1s connected to the same PSTN base-station - in fact one of them was purchased from Frederik! I wouldn't think that the Mk2s would be any different.
I could be wrong but I think DTMK/FSK only effects caller ID. It worked fine for me on both UK and DK phones when I lived in Denmark but I have used neither in UK. I can't get Caller ID to work on any of my phones here in Germany, but that could be related to the Deutsche Telecom modem into which they are plugged.
Thank you guys.
I've now received my package from Frederik and I can report that:
so thank you all for telling me not to worry.
PlayMaker MKI added to the list
I am interested in Serene mobile phones with original box. Thanks
I have sent you a message :)
