I have acquired this B&O system, and when i first switched it on it all worked OK.

Then I had a problem with the radio section's manual tuning, so I unplugged it, stripped it down and reassembled it, but before I refitted it to the main body I decided to test it.

At some point, I dont know whether I shorted something out, the unit went off, If I reconnect it to the mains, it usually comes on with a P in the display, other times it wont show anything, once or twice every light comes on and relays chatter and once or twice it has come on normally and works.

Does anyone know what's happened and how I can resolve it?

I dont have the manual as yet.

Thanks

Michael

I switched this on this morning and it seemed to come on and go into standby.  When I pressed P1 it seemed to come on then a few moments later it switched back off and then it started chattering then the 'P' symbol came up

I'm quite desperate.
