Hello everyone

I'm considering buying a second hand pair of Beolab 4000 as surround speakers in a surround-setup.

They are produced in 1997/1998 - is the age a problem? Ive read about them blowing fuses (can these be replaced by myself?) - is there anything in particular i can check when buying them (besides cosmetics/sound)?

Also do you think the lab4000 will do as surround-channels? Left/right is beolab 3 and sub is beolab 2.

Thanks in advance

I have 4 x bl4000's with a bl2 and avant and really enjoy it for movies.

The BL4k is a great rear channel speaker. You'll have no problems in your setup.

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there
