Folks,

Due to a move, my Beovox S.80 will need repair (High pitch sound at varying pitches, bass membrane came undone in one spot).

Looking for a repair specialist in the LA area. Appreciate any leads.

These guys in Burbank are factory authorized.  I have no experience with them.  I'm contemplating buying a Beogram 4002 and looking for local service support as well.  I'm in Orange County BTW.  Let me know how it goes.

I have experience with Tek Media Services in Burbank. Great service! I took in a Beosound 4000 to get the door pulleys readjusted / fixed. They were top notch. While I was there dropping it off and picking it up, you could see plenty of Bang & Olufsen hi end items there.

I believe they have only one or two B&O technicians, but they're supremely capable, and very communicative.

FYI, I have experience with the service center in Burbank (Tek Media Services), I saw a 4002 and an 8002 sitting there waiting to be picked up. :-)

Good Luck!

They're pretty good about giving estimates for relatively current stuff, I don't know about things in that vintage. Doesn't hurt to call and ask.
