eBay!

Or send them to me if you were honestly just going to throw it away! ;)

E bay, or send them to me, if it still is in America it should stay in AmericaLaughing

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

Ebay - both of those items have value, even if not working. Clearly worth more if they are! The 8004 is probably the best cassette player produced by B&O - on standard tapes, the bigger head means that it will outperform the 9000. (Theoretical difference - both are excellent!) The BM 6000 is a derivative of the 4400 and so is one of the best receivers B&O made. What speakers do you have?

I would love to receive them if I lived in America Wink

Reading your post, it suggests may not be living in America now.

Why would you want to through these items "in the tip"? I can only assume they are no longer working and/or are cosmetically damaged, perhaps very badly.

As Peter says, you have two good pieces - arguably the best sounding matching combination of tuner/amp and cassette deck produced by B&O. If they are cosmetically good, they should certainly not be thrown in the tip and would have a value, even if they were not working fully. A bit more detail on location, finish (teak, rosewood or white) and overall condition might help in offering a guide to value. Photos would be even better,
