Ordered one from my local dealer yesterday, and should be getting it in 7-10 days (awaiting confirmation).

Will be linking it up (wired) to my BV11-46 (mk1) which has BL6002's already connected. Will post an update once all set-up.

I will get a Beolab 19 from my dealer at the end of this month for test purposes together with my Beolab 1 (with lacking bass in my opinion). I will report my experiences...

I am using a bl2 with my lab1's and would not do without it. Waiting to borrow a 19 from my dealer for a demo but there's a queue in front of me. Even the display one is gone....

Congrats - have you read the latest blog/article from Geoff Martin.

It is a must if you want/buy a BL19.

Greetings Millemissen

Yes MM, I readed it, very interesting and informative though, but of course it's most important for me if BL 19 matches with BL 1 soundwise. Few years ago I had BL 2 for test purposes and I really hated this "BOOM-BOOM-sound", sometimes funny with video but not with audio!

I finally received the BL19 over the weekend and have had a few hours to enjoy it within my setup. Whilst I'm not able to compare this to the BL2 or BL11, I have to say I'm very impressed with the performance of the speaker. It compliments films very well (maybe as my 6002s aren't the greatest for bass) and provides depth when needed - which I'm finding seems to be most of the time as opposed to it clicking on/off when there's a scene that requires it. How much of this is down to the sound processor on the BV11 I'm not sure but it seems to balance it well and continually run the speaker in the background without overpowering things.

I've not tried this with music yet so can't comment on how it'll perform with various music types, nor have I played with the setup since the dealer installed it, but so far so good.

Overall I'm very impressed with it in both terms of performance and looks (we went for a grey one which goes well next to the BV11).

i haven' listened listened to it but biggest doncern I have is that beolab 11 and 2 would remove the lower frequencies from the satelite speaker providing some relieve and making them often sound much much better. BL19 can't do that  due to the wireless connection support unless they are doing something in the transceiver.

The new audio engine can route the bass to the most capable speaker. In this case your BL19. This is the primary reason I consider upgrading to Beosystem 4. But any TV build on the new engine can do this and you will not need to wire your sub to your satelites.

The transmitter has a high and low pass filter for the sub, but that would require using the receiver on the main speakers to get the benefit of the high pass filter. This is the main reason I'm not looking at the 19 as I don't need either the transmitter or receiver as my wires are run and hidden, and it would add quite a bit to the cost.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad

Hello,

I had the chance to test a Beolab 19 at home for two days together with my BL 1 and BV 7-40.

I must say I'm very impressed with this subwoofer, it matches in a perfect way with Beolab 1. Finally a very well balanced bass with all kind of music and of course very effective with movies. Now I can listen to a deep and accurate bass that I always missed with Beolab 1, even at low volume.

I didn't hesitate to order this fantastic subwoofer from my dealer.

my new 12 65 ng, beolab 18 and 19 arrived last week. excellent combination, looks very nice, sounds also very good. i think beolab 18 and 19 are good for music from spotify, bolab 9 needs better quality music ( flac on my nas) and are better for cinema. it is only ma opinion.

Beovision 12 65, Beovision 11 55 Mk II, Beoplay V1 40, Beosound 5 Encore, Beolab 9,beolab 18, Beolab 19, Beoplay A8, Beoplay A9

Thank you, MM. Yes, I'm a happy man now.

Speaker set up is: Beolab 1 front, BL 6000 rear, BL 19 sub and BL 10 center.

Just listened to 'Dark Side of the Moon' from internal Bluray player of BV 7 (5.1 Surround Mix, 96kHz/24bit), a real exciting adventure!😃😍😘

And yes, Frau Räuber is also happy too, she likes the design of BL 19 very much. Although a big flower vase has to be sorted out!😪
