Sunday I went to Normandy to try the nice gift Leslie offer to me ;)

I have been really surprise by the soundof this small and beautifull, the system with its 2 small legs is incredible and it's really a pleasure for picnic (even if the wether was poor) ;) !!!

Do someone know if there is an external power power for this Beolit (I think not). Battery are expensive but it deserve it ;)

Pictures are good but video are better (sound come from the radio but the iphone mic is not very good ;)) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFUl97YBh3Q

Hello Jacques,

This Beolit is superb, I did not know that model, I will complain to Leslie as I am jealous.

It is strange there is apparently no input for external power supply. Sure you will get an answer.

Have a nice day

Alain

I was afraid of that Alain, but one of the reason was the excellent trade Jacques and I made. He got a Beogram 4002 and I got "other goodies". Also as a gift lots of French cheese and baguettes. That made my decision quite easy to give him this mint Beolit 800. Next time when you have the chance to visit me in my B&O toyshop you will get some of my vintage stuff.

What a lovely picture! Wish I was there listening to the Beolit instead of in this -15°C weather... (at least there's only 2 cm of snow)

This weekend, no long trip to see my friend Leslie or to go to the sea !

Just grab a sandwich and eat it in front of the Eiffel tower ;)

Merci pour le reportage, il est vrai qu'il faisait beau et que l'on était mieux dehors avec cet air frais.

Bonne écoute

After weeks and weeks of hard work here in Paris, I finally found the time to go to the sea this weekend.

I went to the far west of France in Brittain (in the North of Brest, a city named Landeda).

Surprisingly, I received BBC classic on FM there. Nice place, nice music, nice sound, nice weather, (but, as always, poor pictures;))… a perfect B&O moment.

This saturday, I went to see my friend Leslie and bring my beolit (back home ;)) and, of course, some french cheese and bread ;) (you can see some Maroille and brie de Melun in the picture, but I also brought some saint Marcellin, Laguiole and goat cheese) !

That was a very nice lunch and afternoon (but too short) ;).

I have some but it is incredible how long they last (I only changed them one time) Idea. Finally, it is much more practical than anything rechargeable.

Wish I could but my manager does not allow me to do that. We have some affiliates in Australia but never got the chance to get there. Would have been a great opportunitie to see you in the flesh instead of all those "chats" on BW. Thanks for your invitation....

A radio with a built in fishing rod!  B&O were well ahead of their time!

Great pictures.  Mine is just on a shelf in my B&O room.

Dave.
