BeoCenter 9500 External Amp

Hi:

Does anyone have experience hooking up the BC9500 to an external NON B&O Amp?

I tried connecting it to a Bryston Amp via the Master Link Out.

There is a loud "pop" every time I turn on the 9500.

Part of the reason is there is no delay turn-on on the amplifier. The amplifier is on all the time.

Is there any way around this?
