Good morning Forum,

I wonder if some of you fellow B&O's can help me with two questions ?

Yesterday I got a new pair of BL5's (can't understand why I didn't buy them before, as they are just great) for my setup and decided to keep my existing speakers to build a 7.1 setup, based on a BV7-55 MKIII with BL5 as front, BL6000 as surround and BL8000 as back speakers.

When the system is playing music in SPEAKER4 mode, it sends the sound to the BL5 (front)  and the BL6000 (surround). When in Beosystem 3 switching the position of BL8000 and BL6000 it is sending the music to the BL8000 but then I have the rear speakers physically placed as surround speakers and the surround speakers physically placed as rear speakers, which obviously means that the sound picture when watching movies in 7.1 is not correct - confused Whistle So am I...

Here to my question; Is there any way to chose which speakers is part of a SPEAKER4 setup ?

Secondly, I feel I get much more bass from the BL5's when playing in SPEAKER4 setup vs. SPEAKER2 setup with only the BL5's ?

Thanks upfront for your comments on this.

Hi Trolle

I too have just purchased lab 5s which sound great,i too get more bass aswell when in speaker 4 mode (beolab 3s) which give the 5s more depth-if only the 5s would sound as deep in speaker 2 mode...

Help someone!

Hi Trolle

Have you tried activating the AST feature in your 7-55 as this may help with balancing and different listening arrangements. The manual is on the corporate website if you do not have it?
