Hi there, 

does anyone know if there's a way to connect an iPhone 5 to the AV5 to play digital music through the speakers? 

If so which connections and what settings please?

Hi Stephen and welcome to BeoWorld,

just use a scartadapter with RCA connections or the RCA's of the Camcorder socket, (and a jack to RCA adapter cable).

Use the 'AV' button before you choose the 'Source' button assigned to the input - to have the AV5 start with a 'muted' screen.
