Hi,  I am trying to fix a friends unit.  It was knocked over and the amp base broke from the speaker column.  The wires ripped off right at the pin connector and I have no way of knowing what color wire goes to what pin.  How can I find a diagram that shows reconnecting this?  Thanks... Daniel

Possibly by upgrading your membership of Beoworld and then looking at the service manual on-site,

Or, hopefully someone in the know will be able to answer your question directly - I do not have the answer I'm afraid.

Dave.

Maybe adding a picture about which wires you mean would help.

There are grey coloured wires and a bunch of coloured wires in 1 connector together.

If I remember correctly there are no pin connectors between the amp section and the speaker column.
Only two leads for the speakers (+/-) and a DIN plug for the display.

Were the wires pulled out of the amp section ?

Like Martin, I am not sure exactly which wires you are talking about, but the diagram below shows the connections to the speakers

Just finished rewiring a Canadian amp for the european (dutch) market.

I took the opportunity to open the connector which goes from the amp to the collumn.

The pins are shown upside down and seen from inside the connector (the solderside).

Thanks for all the help.  It's not a traditional pin connector that I've seen, just looks like one and it is screwed down on the amp part.  It's at my friends so I can't get a pic for awhile but I'll look at your drawing Beobuddy and check it out.

Keith: I don't think that's what I'm looking for, the wires going directly to the speakers are probably not the ones coming from the amp.  Don't know for sure.

Hello again,  sorry for such delay but I couldn't get to this right away.  Here are some pictures of what I have.

Beobuddy:  That is exactly what I have, but it's the wrong side of the connector.  See the pics.  I see the 2 white, blue, green, black and grey wires, but they are connected already to the male side of the connector.  I need the locations of the other colored wires in the pick with my hand.

It took some time...

But here's a picture. I hope it's sufficient enough.
