Is there a way to update the list of STB's in the controller?

You can by having the STB chip replaced. You can view HERE the STB's supported.

The STB-C controller has a replaceable chip as shown below 

Where do I get the chip? From a dealer?

How can I identify which version I have?

You will need to purchase the chip from a dealer who would normally install it for you as well with a cost.

Whilst you can identify the table version by looking at the currently installed chip, its almost impossible without the STB-C removing it from the TV. Below is a picture showing a STB-C chip with its markings.

You can also check the Software and Table versions via the Service Menu as follows:-

• Press TV then MENU
• Select SETUP
• Press 0 0 then OK
• You are now in the service menu where you should highlight "Monitor Information" and press OK
• You will see IC5 which is the STB-C and the software and table revisions

Surely, the only reason to change the chip is because you wish to control a STB which is not available with the currently installed chip ?

So, which Set Top Boxes do you wish to control ?

I currently have an NOKIA 212 T which I would like to replace due to bad performance.
So I'd like to buy a new, not to expensive, DVB-T box. For that reason I'd like to know which boxes can be controlled and what costs are involved.
Do yo have an estimation of the cost for the chip? If available I'd install it myself.
