Dear All,

The doors of my BS 3200 do not close by themselves. So I have to force them. As I do not use anymore the cd's and because I can control everything with my beo 4 I tried to lock them by the code bellow and it doesn't work. Nothing appear on the screen.

1. Is there any A or V Option to set up to the system to make the BS understand the Shift issue ? Or special link mode ?

2. Where is located the sensor on the BS 3200 as I want to hide it with tape during the time that I find a solution ?

The glass doors can only be locked if your Beosound 3200 is in Standby.
Press SHIFT 9 0 3 6 9 with no more than 2 seconds between the individual numbers being entered.
The display shows “LOCKED”.
To unlock the glass doors press SHIFT 9 0 3 6 9 with no more than 2 seconds.
The display shows “UNLOCKED”.
The function will be saved in NVRAM if you disconnect from mains
.

.THanks by advance,

'Assume you've added the 'Shift' function to your Beo4 by pressing 'dot' and 'list'.   You should then be able  to press 'list' until shift appears, then enter 90369 quickly.  The Beosound should be in 'standby' mode when you do this.

If you remove the doors and black panels on each side there is a place on the underside of the black panels to put tape to cover the sensors.  I'm sure someone will add specifics as to where.

Yes I have added the 'shift' properly with the Beo 4 and I have entered quickly the 90369. There is absolutely no reaction on the BS3200. I have tried with 2 differents beo 4 remotes. It is very strange ! Is someone else experience this issue ?

Yes I hope that someone will add specifics as to where is located the sensor.
