In my last thread I received some really good advise - thanks.

So, I bought BeoLab 18+19, transmitter 1 and playmaker and tried to connect all this and ran into issues.

End of story, it was recommended to me to buy a pre-amp (which I did, Marantz 1504) and to connect my Samsung TV, my 3200 and my playmaker to the pre-amp and then only run one connection from the pre-amp to the transmitter.

Great advise, all in the works and I think this will work splendidly.

Now i wil have great 2.0 sound especially from my TV. Now I am thinking it would be great to get true 5.1 coming from my TV.

I am not a technically savvy person, but I did read that the Marantz is 5.1 capable.

Question 1 - what speakers would you recommend for center and rear - again the only purpose is to create the effect of surround sound from my TV. I do want to take advantage for the rear speakers of the upcoming Receiver 1 to make them wireless.

Question 2 - to what and how should the rear and center speakers be connected? Transmitter 1 - Pre-amp ?

I would really appreciate another dose of sage advise.

Thanks,

Confused

To the preamp!

Center: one (or two) BL4000.

Rears: Beolab 6000

Sub: maybe? Just pick one - B&O or non-B&O.

MM

There is a tv - and there is a BV
