Try this at your own risk!

Last time i my Beo6 went dead i took it to my dealer who repaired it in a few minutes. I was told they connected a charged battery pack to it and it bumps it back into life, i they had to dash home and get it on charge.

Well it happened to me again, charging off a faulty usb!

So instead of popping back to the dealer i took the Beo6 apart and took the battery pack apart. i wired in two charged AA and connected them to the pcb. Nothing? Anyway i put it all back again with the Beo NIMH batteries.

I put it on charge nothing? so i thought i would run the config tool sure enough it came back to life :-) Now on charge and working as it should.

If your Beo6 is under warranty get your dealer to fix it, if it isn't under warranty you try the fix above.

Again a disclaimer do it at your own risk.

Mods if you are unhappy with the post delete it if you wish.

You may wish to look at my posting in the next thread down HERE and get your Beo6 firmware updated to version 3.30a by your dealer.

Regards Keith....
