Hello everyone,

I recently bought a Beocenter 7000, but the device seems to shut itself down after about roughly 10-15 seconds.

It doesn't seem to matter which feature I use on the device, after the 10 to 15 seconds it says "wait" and then shuts itself down.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I would really like to have this Beocenter 7000 in working order.

Kind regards,

MitchKes

Welcome to Beoworld !

What speakers are you using ?
Will it do the same with no speakers attached ?

I tried a couple of RL35 speakers, I tried with headphones and I tried it with nothing attached. The results stayed the same

Check the idle currents against the factory specs.
Check also the amount of DC on the speaker outputs.

Does the cooling run hot? The units also shut down if there is a short on the speaker output. But without speakers attached that shouldn't be a problem. unless the socket is shorted.
