Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
That is in danish kroner 22.732
A BeoPlay V1 will cost you 20.204 danish kroner - if you pay the full price
The 10-40 is nearly 4 years old - the V1 just comes right from the factory and has warranty.
No doubt what I would choose - not at all.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
A BV10 40 sold on ebay uk for £2150 earlier, so the price is obviously coming down.
The question is would you go with the better design but older technology or the better technology which is not quite such a design classic?
If you enjoy the look, the V1 is a fantastic A/V system. Attach an OPPO 103, Cable Box, ATV or ROKU, Chromecast, and NAS, and that dog will hunt! Control it and your OPPO with your iPad. If you don't care for the look and 40" is OK, get a BV11. It only gets better and they are on special in the US.
Nothing at all wrong with a BV10, but the new ones are surely better. And yes, it's a lot of money, and don't think anyone would say differently.
Chris Townsend:All those things could have also applied to a Lada. I'd rather have the 4 year old Merc any day.
The V1 a Lada? - ha ha ha!
