I have just bought a white BG 6500 very cheap, because the arm wasn't moving.
When I opened it, I saw why... the little 'tab' to which the wires were fixed had broke off...
As far as I remember, there was a thread on this subject on the old Forum -but I didn't have the patience to try and find it...So I looked in one of my 'junk boxes' and found a little piece of plastic with a tab:
-this one. I don't know what it originally was made for... But it was exactly what I needed After some cutting and fiddling around, it looked like this (above).
Then I put the tab through the hole from the underside, glued it with some epoxy super glue...
And -Voila!!! As good as new Attach the wires -and it'll work for years and years again...
Very good, just tell me what you paid for it (you said cheap) including the extra costs for the epoxy and I'll add 25 euro on top. What do you think, deal?
