Do we know who developed the Beoworld Apple App? As I would have thought this will need repointing to the new forums when thye cut over

As the forum itself is compatible with safari mobile since iOS 5.0, I don't see any advantage in using the app... Maybe for the small screen of an iPhone, but even there, I prefer to use Safari...

I really like the Beoworld app. I probably use it more than the browser especially on the iPhone. I hope Philippe is able to do an update.
As long as an app is functionally the same as the browser, I am not worried about an app only internet. Its a convenience nothing more.

I am aware the app has stopped functioning and have email the forum techies tonight to try and establish the best way to proceed...
I would like they enable a special set of APIs, which would let me build a much better app.

I use the app much more than using Safari. I hope in the next version there will be a search function and a date, when the posts were done.Please update as soon as possible.

Yes, definitely great App. I used only the App to participate in the discussions of the forum. Really too bad...
Is it possible to use the Tapatalk plugin in the new forum?

There are still some technical problems to solve with the new forum in general, and I hope you all understand this isn't quite priority A, as the iFolks can nowadays use the forum directly with a browser anyway. I believe you will just have to be patient.

Well, that is nearly it!
I have updated the app for the new forum. I have added a couple of features to do with the new "question" threads. So it is now possible to choose between "question" or "discussion" for new threads. Also the answers marked as verified or suggested are displayed in light green or orange...
There are still a few glitches but I am discussing with the forum techie to see how we can resolve them.

So... I have added several new features....
In the Forum list, at the bottom, I have added 5 rows that give you access to... drum roll... Search, My Discussions, Unread Topics, Active Topics and Unanswered Topics.
The Search function works like on the forum, you even have access to some sorting options...
When you tap on a post, the thread of which it belongs is opened... and the post is highlighted in blue, so it is easier to spot.
And you will also noticed that dates are now displayed as well!
The new thread page now displays symbols for "Question" type threads. But I display grey icons instead of read, to be easier on the eye.

More progress... The support for the new "Question" threads is now complete and it is possible to mark posts as Verified Answers or Suggested Answers.
Hurray! Apple has just validated the new Beoworld app. It is available here on the App Store.
Let me know if you've got any issue.
Do you know by chance what the breakdown is for Beoworld members regarding which OS is most prevalent? I tried doing a search, but didn't come up w/anything relevant.
I suspect there's lots of Mac users, etc.

I'll try and provide a fix.
