I was looking through the on-screen menu and found the "nice to know" section which stated that the tv will facilitate wireless speakers. Is this like the beovision 11 or does it require the transmitter?

That is new to me!

Could you please post a photo of the menu?

How old is your V1?

It's from last year, so an early adopter

Thanks!

Seems to be - in case of the V1 - 'just' an info about the option of wireless speakers via the Transmitter.

I'll have a look tomorrow in the menu of my V1.

The wireless transmitter module is not fitted to the V1, unless you specified at purchase. The transmitter costs £500 on top of the wireless speakers but in your case will be a satellite unit and can not be fitted into the pocket on the rear of your V1.
