Hello,

I'm looking for speakers to Beomaster 900M. I'm inexperienced. Colud You advise me wchich model Beovox will be good? Maybe Beovox 1100? Can I connect three identical speakers at the same time?

Thanks for your help!

Welcome to Beoworld !

You can connect any of the passive Beovox speakers.
Beovox 1100 would be an excellent choice.

BM900M is a very nice classic vintage receiver, congratulations for the acquisition!

As Martin said, you can use any passive speakers so you should try to think how they should look. The Beovox 500, Beovox 600, Beovox 800, Beovox 1000 ... are all from the same era so they would be all perfect matching speakers for your Beomaster 900M.

If bookshelf: BV500, BV600, BV2200...

If stand: BV1000, BV1200, BV1500

If on the wall: BV800, BV1600

regards,

I found this offer:

http://tablica.pl/oferta/glosniki-kolumny-bang-olufsen-b-o-caly-zestaw-5-sztuk-CID99-ID3QhZ3.html#5bc55e4f83

BV 1100 look fine. The seller has three pieces. What do you think about condition? This is rosewood or teak version?

They look nice, I would say it is a teak (or maybe oak). Does it match your BM900M?

If they are technically OK, I would buy them. They are pretty rare too.

How much is it in €?

In my opinion this is rosewood version, but I would be wrong.

The Beovox 1100 looks like 2 in oak and 1 in teak.
The Beovox 1700 are teak.
Your Beomaster is rosewood.

Beovox 1700 is also very a good sounding speaker. Actually quite rare!

If you are looking for larger speakers, Beovox 2400 and 2600 could be of interest.

Interesting topic! I have the same question as I want some extra speakers for my beomaster 900rg deluxe. I was thinking about beovo 1500's/2400's as these have connections for the beovox cube. How do these speakers compare to each other? Or are there much better options?

Beovox 1500 is not very powerful for its size but you will forget this when you hear it, it's a very delicate and well balanced speaker and
it would be a great match for the Beomaster 900. Finding a pair could be difficult though, they are not too common.
Beovox 2400 can be seen as the Beovox 1500s bigger brother. Very pleasant sound and slightly more powerful.
Beovox 2600 is again slightly more powerful in its sound but with a tendency towards a little more punchy bass, good for pop music, I should
say - it lacks the socket for the Beovox 2500 cubes but instead it has a dome tweeter (where HT1500 and HT2400 has cones).
If room is not an issue Beovox 5000 could also be considered, it also has the cubes socket but it's a large cabinet.

Thank you for your respons Martin! Unfortunately space now is an issue since the 900 rg de luxe isn't that small as well... I will keep my eyes open for some 1500's/2400's and some cubes then. What is the advantage of the adjustable midrange of the 1500's? Does this work as a kind of loudness function?

Not in Holland! At least, I hope so!Smile

Don't forget Beovox 3000, (1967-1969) Type 6238

One of the best sounding ever made.

You are right about BV3000 but we are here talking about speakers for BM900M. The BV3000 could be perfect matching speakers for the more sophisticated receivers such BM2000, BM2200, BM3000, BM4000, BM4400 or even BS5000 but I am not sure if the BM900M could take out the best of BV3000.
