HI all

I have aquired a beogram 6002 but the motor is making a sort of clicking noise while rotating. It does rotate good though.

The noise is also there when i turn the motor by hand, so i don't think it has anything to do with old caps. The motor can only turn to one direction, when i try gently to turn it the wrong side it is stuck there. is that normal?

Does anybody know if this is fixable or do i need a new motor?

If needed, i can record it.

The clicking sound usually comes from a deformed commutator and/or worn or even broken brushes inside the motor.
A replacement motor will almost certainly be the only way.

Martin,

I was afraid of that :(
Do you have a spare motor for sale? Or is it the same motor i have in my beogram 1700?

Thanks

Hej aymeric

I just read about Your problem with the platter motor.

I can't help You but You can help me!

I also have a problem with the platter motor, but a different one.

All the four wires are broken off and I have no clue where I have to solder them back.

I therefore ask if You would be so kind as to send me a picture of the soldering side of the motor PCB with all four wires attached.

Hope to hear from You.

regards

jenku
