I really enjoy reading the various questions on here, but I see see some of the problems that they have u have enjoyed dealing with customers for over 20 years, 16 years working for a dealer and 7 years on my own helping out and advising and various aspects of design and implementation, but the last 6 months personally I have seen a big shift in customers and what they are willing to spend. I also see that they ate cutting there service staff in the uk and also paying less money for the engineers to fix the problems that occur, down south that is not so much of an issue, but here in Scotland for an engineer to travel a 250 mile round trip and to get paid £120 for an under guarantee repair is beyond belief, all the old parts are being discontinued, bang and olufsen need to move forward but the rate at which they are discontinuing old products is frighting and how much they charge for the older parts as well, keep this up and they will suffer, look at your cust base in Europe and stop looking at the markets and china and Russia and listen to both dealers and customers in Europe, this is only my view point but I have seen so many old customers deciding its not worth repairing the older items and they are not wiling to spend money on the newer products. I know every has there own views, and mine is one of many but I have seen many changes in the last couple of years, and when I see one of my old friends who has served bang olufsen for many years getting nothing for servicing the brand something has to change listen up bang & olufsen, if you charge a premium then be prepared to pay for the people to service the product and stop cutting cost. Here is to a good year and many more good products but remember the people that look after the products

I've been saying it for a long time, B&O perhaps should buy a map service, as they are completely lost geographically.

Too long to list....

That's worrying as I live 1000km round trip to my B&O retailer...although give them credit, a couple of years ago I had green screen of death on my BV7-40 and they sent an engineer up to fix it! I remember they said they had to fax a map over to B&O head quarters as to how big Western Australia is! :)
