Hi,
I'm restoring a pair of M75s and was going to check out the crossover PCBs for recapping, but am having trouble getting to it. From the service manual it looks like I need to remove the backside to which the crossover is mounted, but after removing the 8 screws the backside is not letting go. Do I need to apply brute force, because I would not want to damage the cabinets. Is the alu strip keeping it from letting go?
I tried accessing it from the frontside, but that is very difficult since it is bolted on with 6 screws and I cannot get to them.
Any tips?

Never mind, brute force did the trick
Just in case someone finds him/herself in the same situation: there is a glue strip sealing the backside, with the 8 screws removed put the cabinet on the floor with the backside, put your foot (gently) inside the woofer hole and pull on the front of the cabinet until the strip lets go. You should be able to pull this off without damaging the cabinet.
Tip.
After you have unscrewed the back.
Unscrew the woofer and knock the back carefully out from inside of the box with a hammer.
A few easy, light knocks is usually enough.
