We had this discussion recently here on the BW. It is a rare Beovision 2000. Actually it is one of the RG's but named after the Beovision built in. More pictures and information here:

If I'm not mistaken, there is a dedicated amplifier in the TV chassis.
I will be happy to see if I have the service manual if you need further details.
The Beomaster is prettu much standard, though the printing on the dial is
obviously rotated 90deg, the connections at the rear likewise and the volume
control has a double knob (left/right) to make up for the lost access to the balance control at
the rear of the Beomaster.

As the TVs were outdated, many radio chassis saw a new life in various homemade cabinets.
Here is one :

Just the right solution for narrow spaces Big Smile

Impressive that they bothered with a dedicated rear panel!

Ahh, so the sound from the TV went probably through a third speaker,
cant see a button for TV on the AMP, so it was most likely just a BM900 with differnt front.

At first I thought of cours that the sound from the TV went through the amp.

The speakers are shared. No third speaker.
It's possible that the radio outputs are switched off when the TV is switched on.
Looks like I will have to go down the dungeons again and look for the servicemanual. I've been
busy down there recently Laughing

I have uploaded something here:

http://s17.postimg.org/gz98urman/Page_1_Beovision_2000_Forbindelser.jpg

A dedicated pushbutton is provided for switching the speakers to "TV only" (if pushed in), it seems.
I guess this is to allow for watching TV (with sound) while recording radio or turntable to tape (without monitor sound).

Talking about speakers: do you (or somebody else) know which speakers was built in in the BV2000?

One of mine is dead.

Do you know if those speakers were used in any other beovox speakers? What speakers I need to find for a spare parts?

The tweeters were widely used. I'm sure, I can find some in the dungeons.
The woofer was also used in the Beomaster 1200RG and the Grand Prix TV 610 RG, I doubt that I can find one but
I can't rule it out completely.
But take a closer look at what you have, find out what exactly is amiss and if it can be repaired.

The seller have contacted me and said no one have shown interest , and most likely its going to the dump, which is very sad.

I have suggested him to contact, local B&O shops if they would be interested in it as historical relic....or Swedish office of B&O.......sad if it is going to the dump.

Its not to far away from Copenhagen,..could there be any danish interests in it ?

Yes, it would be a shame.
Maybe you should suggest the seller to put a more reasonable price on it - or simply just give it away.
A TV/Radiogram is worth very little, even in working condition.
A defective one close to nothing.

If I am not wrong 2000 SEK are approx. 220 EURO?

Hmmm, I am disappoint to hear this opinion from you Martin. I paid 250€ for mine.

I agree that the devices built in are worth very little but I think, even as a piece of beautiful furniture it is worth this amount of money.

Of course, as always with vintage gear, only if there is somebody, who is ready to pay for it Whistle

I think 250 euro is absolutly good price, but this add clearly says it is not working.
The seller  is selling in behalf of a family member.
yours could have been in way better shape , we dont know.

Vintage B&O products with unknown conditions go very often for almost no money in Sweden as there are so few enthusiats that are interested in the reconditioning.

Myself live in the capital of Sweden, and even showing myself here and explaining myself and what I have done whith the machines in public interent adds when I sell, I still havent got in contact with one single B&O enthusiast in Stockholm that also repairs vintage B&O.

I would love to have someone to go out for a beer once in a while and share experiences.

Its a small world to be B&O vintage enthusiast-repairment guy.

When I have time, I pour up a glass of wine and read here, pretending I meet you

Well it is a bit the same here in Finland - I see the same, admittedly few, nicknames constantly buying and selling (and especially trying to buy and sell) in local auctions, but I believe I've only ever met one hardcore vintage enthusiast (Ville). The only vintage item I decided to sell actually went to Estonia. Go figure.

There are B&O enthusiasts, restorers and maybe you could even call a few of them collectors, in your areas.
Not many, but there are some.

Of course no B&O item is without interest - just not to anyone.
In this case, it would have to be a serious collector and preferably one living close enough to pick it up himself.
I wouldn't expect a buyer like this to pop up within a week and be ready to shed out SEK 2000 for a non-working piece.
It's not completely without interest to me either. I never owned one of these and would love to someday
and I would also really love to own this incredibly rare piece:

It's the first time I ever see one of these up for sale but I simply haven't got room for more things right now.

Patience and/or lower price would be the way for the swedish seller, I think.

I would have shown interest myself if I lived closer and had room.
My last free space has a completeBC7002 set with furniture eaten up.

The last email I got from him , he sasy that a local museum has shown interest. So it looks like its not going to the dump...which a good thing

An enthusiast will most likely repair it, give it life, a museum  will most likely keep it as a visual dead thing, forever

Martin, yes that GrandPrix looks adoring would love to have myself.
Infact those old combos are a big inspiration.
Just watching them gives me ideas about how I want to funriture a house, which will happen in a couple of years.

Lauritz is a fantastic place to find vintage B&O, seems like Denmark is packed with B&O stuff.

A bit expensive for swedish buyers due to the value of the danish currency, and transport.

On my way to one of the local secondhand shops in Stockholm, today.

Vintage Hifi seems to have disapeared from the secondhand shops here in sthlm

Rumours says  is that there is somekind of russian business going on here in Stockholm, which gets the vintage machines before they end up in the secondhand shops.

It also says that they have gangs of people emptying garbage rooms, then 3 times a years they transport in containers vintage to russia.
Everything sold from hand to hand and payed in money/kilos.

Christian

"Lauritz is a fantastic place to find vintage B&O, seems like Denmark is packed with B&O stuff. "

It may seem so and by nature there has been a lot of things here. That's true.
However, it's my experience that a lot of the older B&O stuff you'll find in Denmark today is either badly worn, mistreated,
disrespected and/or has been badly stored.
There can be the rare goodie and I have picked up a few nice things from there myself but Lauritz is a good
place to part with whatever junk you want to see gone. I can only advice potential buyers to
inspect before buying. Have a local check it out for you if you are living abroad.
I still remember looking at an incredibly nice pinball machine at the Lauritz webpage. It was fairly local to me
so I went there and took a look at it. All stripped off electronics and circuit boards, cruely cut out, not even leaving the plugs.
Practically a worthless piece. Lauritz just states "No guarantee for functionality".
I've seen similar B&O things. A completely empty "pizza-box" 6500-system springs to mind.

I agree on the russian action. Lately I have had a huge amount of requests for units and parts from Russia and, many
recent Ebay sales went that way.

There is a B&O guy on one of the larger islands near Stockholm, maybe you know him ?

For me Lauritz is a very good source for a good resolution and nice pictures of very rare B&O stuff. But I do not buy anything because their shipping costs are very expensive.

And here we have again one rare specimen. It is the old B&O Type S507 record player though I am not sure if the furniture is original B&O too.
