I am SO pleased with my Beomaster 4500 after Benny’s rebuild.
However I have a question.
When playing the radio the display has always shown P2 or P5, etc. but all of a sudden it is displaying the radio station numbers 98.1.
I don’t see anything in the manual to accomplish this, but I love it.
So in case this changes, how do I choose this option in the future AND is there anyway to get my BeoCenter 9000 to also display the radio station call numbers?

When you turn on the radio by pressing a preset number, that preset number will show up in the display. If you then press 'programming', the frequency will appear. And of course if you manually tune in a station, frequency will appear.

Hi Bob,
I tried your suggestion on my BeoCenter 9000 and the call numbers appear briefly, then go out.
However on my newly rebuilt Beomaster 4500 (the same system as the BC 9000) the call letters remain permanently and I really rather like this.
Normally what is displayed is P1 or P2, etc. but for whatever reason the call letters have replaced the P-numbers.
The reason for the question is I don’t know what caused this change, but I’d like to know what it was so if the P-numbers come back, I can change the status to the call umbers again.
Does that make any sense? (I haven’t had my morning coffee yet….)
Obviously, this is NOT an important question, but if someone knows the answer, I surely would appreciate hearing it.
