sonavor:

Bo, I didn't want to hijack Jacques's M70 thread with the M100 stand pictures so I sent you a PM with some pictures and dimensions.

Not a problem at all!

1) I did mention the M100s first,

2) It is always nice to get information like this on the forum!

I have the M100 stand available as CAD (SolidWorks) drawings if anyone is interested in making their own.

Nice work. Are you going to build a set for your M100's?

Hi,

There's an excellent feature about the good old M70 in the January 2017 issue of Hi-Fi News, obviously written by Tim Jarman.

My own pair is still in use every single day and the Beomaster 4400 drives them better than anything else, and believe me I have tried to better this couple!

The low bass in 'In Any Tongue' is just prodigious. No other speaker can do what they do here. Yes, even the Ditton 66 remain silent in the lower octave!

I want to believe you Jacques but it is difficult when there are no pictures Smile.

But there are!

You mean of those? Stick out tongue

The M70's easily beat them.

Yes, Thanks. And when you get your new trumpet stands I would like to see your M70s with them.

As Jacques remarked there is something special with the BM 4400 and M70, not even the BL 5000 amp brought out these deep deep bass tones, the BL only if I adjusted the bass a little upward, the BM 4400 did it with bass and trebla in "0"

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

My Beomaster 4400 that I always used in my workshop started to give out last year (it was unrestored) so I stopped using it. I am hoping to finally restore it sometime this year but this year is moving pretty fast. It was always a favorite performer of mine as well. Your comments are making me miss it.
