Hello,

I have a B & O BeoLink Passivekit 1656.
I would like it to use it. Outside my link

I know that the following four colors Audio L & R's.
orange
white-orange
red
white-red

Is it possible That the kit switched on without Master Link?
I do have a sensor eye .. and he also works fine.

'm very curious

Hi markdeboer and welcome to BeoWorld,

I am not quite sure what you are trying to do???

However if you want to use the MasterLink port for connecting an audio source, this won't be possible!!!

For the BeoLink Passive to work you will need a MasterLink driver.

Normally you connect a ML-BeoMaster  to it, but you should be able to use the BeoLink Converter 1611 as a ML-driver for the Passive kit.

Connect the 1611 with a ML-cable (MK2) to the Passive kit, and use the Aux-port of it for connecting an audio device via an adapter (5-pin DIN to RCA connections/jack-connection).

Searching the forum and the 'archived forum' you might find a similar setup described.

This might also be a possibility:
