Yes. However Masterlink is a quite expensive addon to the BV11. Around 800 Eur if I remember correctly.

It is called NL/ML Converter - you can get it from your B&O store.
MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV
That is very expensive! Just to make sure: can the NL/ML converter be fed into a Beolink converter T1611 to connect to a MCL system. (Beomaster 5500). Or will that provide link problems, synchronization issues etc?
Beosound 5 Encore + Beosystem 5500 + S45.2; BV7-40 MKV + BL7.1 + BL14.4+ AppleTV4; various link rooms with MCL2 A or MCL2 A/V + RL60.2 / CX100 / CX50 & Cona / IWS2000; BG4000; Beosystem 1200 + BV1600.
It is possible to use the old converter to connect a MCL based system!
But you will still need the new converter if you want to connect to a NL-tv.
'synchonization issuees'? - if you mean 'sound delay', you can fix that with the 'delay-box' connected to the MasterLink part of the setup.
Hiort:Yes. However Masterlink is a quite expensive addon to the BV11. Around 800 Eur if I remember correctly. Happy owner of: BV10 40", 2 x Beocom 2, Beocom 6000, Beocenter 2, Beolab 3, Beolab 2000, Beo4, Beolab 11, Playmaker 1:st prize winner Beoworld January Price Draw 2011 (BL8000).
How could anyone, who obvisiously can afford a BV11 and a MLGW, care about what the NL/ML Converter would cost
Obviously you're not a sales-guy, are you..?
Millemissen:How could anyone, who obvisiously can afford a BV11 and a MLGW, care about what the NL/ML Converter would cost MM There is a tv - and there is a BV.
And you - obvisiously - are not a costumer, who wants to use a BV11 with MasterLink including MLGW.
A BV11/46 and a MLGW - official prices in DK 76.000 DKK
The NL/ML Converter - official price in DK 5.000 DKK
I would not advice any costumer to go ahead without the converter - knowing he has a ML setup at home.
olvisab:I don't know what is the more annoying, having to pay for something that should be built in the tv or having to deal with another big box that will increase the power consumption and the need of space.
How about being a new B&Ocustomer who doesn't want or need integration with twenty year old products , but being made to pay for it with the purchase of your standalone TV.
That would surely be more annoying that the small number of people who want backwards comparability paying for it themselves?
+1
It doesn't seem to be possible just to write a +1.
So I had to write a bit more
(writing just +1 and nothing else provokes a popup with 'Dublicate Posts not allowed' - quite odd I should think)

Damn it - B&O has entered the digital age - and give a shxt about the 'old' costumers

This small number of people represents maybe more than 50 percent of their sales yesterday. Everyone who owns a whole system until the nl.

I honestly can't think of a single reason why someone with a BV11 would rather the TV was more expensive, and allowed them to distribute the video from that TV to other rooms?
olvisab:Digital age ! Lol they should give up the scart and s-video connectors, why should I pay for these prehistorical connectors.
They have. Sorry, but I don't follow you
MasterLink is only for sound distribution (and control signals).
Where do you find a scart and a s-video connection on a NL-tv?
I appreciate the fact that B&O are offering the NL/ML converter. This enables me to connect the BV 11 to my BS9000 and make use of the BL 2. I would hate to buy a second subwoofer, which would be more expensive than the converter.
That is actually why I went BV from Loewe TV, because B&O protects my big expenses better.
