Any programmers using this combination?  I have it set up now and

use the MLGW primarily as my home automation machine.  I would like

to be able to fade my lights up and down.

I tried to use the "Raise" and "Lower" buttons within the Gateway program but no luck.

I have assigned every zone of lighting within the gateway and would like to fade up/down

an entire room at one time.

Anyone tried to do this??

I have a Lutron Honeycomb shade on a RA2 connected to a MLGW which works.

The resources can only be detected during test mode, for example press test on MLGW then press a command on the Lutron keypad and make a note of what was pressed. Then press Cancel in MLGW and click on show detected items. From here you can then assign devices with macros.

I am familiar with that process.

I wanted have discrete control of the dimmer functions (up and down) for each zone.

It appears you can do it when you write your own "custom string" but I don't believe it

can be done when using the built in drivers.  The drivers seem to only allow a button praise.

THe 'raise' had no effect and I anticipate it deals only with shades...

Well

I have indeed figured out the 'raise' and lower functions.

I had to make a 'stop' button which Id rather not have but the 'hold' command doesn't see to work on the virtual buttons.

Anyone trying to use a virtual button to hold?

What lighting control are you using? RA2 is yet to be launched in the UK where I am based due to compliancy. The RA2 will only control shades unless you write custom strings. We would need to use a Grafik QS for light control which can also connect via RF to the RA2.

I use KNX solely in my showroom for control and lighting and have the RA2 kindly supplied by Lutron to show alternative retro fit shade options which are very popular here.

Regards

Stuart.

We have radio ra2 in the US.

It does indeed work.

The issue is trying to get the 'hold' button to do anything on the mlgw beolink app
