Afternoon all

firstly let me explain my set up and then ask a question ))

BV7-32(non DVD)

sony blueray player in to hdmi

sky+ into hdmi

mini mac into dvi (or what ever it's called !)

masterlinked round the the house, also in the loop is a Ouvertunre as the audio master and an a Avant with lab 6's ...in addition a couple of lab2000 and a pair of pentalabs directly into the ouverture

now the question, I want to try an Blueray Audio disk, am I right in thinking that as it's set up it can only listen in the room with the tv in?? I cannot think od what to press to get the audio round the hiuae

cheers

Audio via Masterlink works analog only, so you you Need to get Audio out the Player via scart or rca (cinch) into the tv.

Look for masterlink Audio hdmi on this Forum.

Audio out of the player is optical, so that's probably a no go....

Then you must use an external DAC - in order to have an analog signal to feed the BV7.

MM

There is a tv - and there is a BV
