Does anyone know if the small aluminium remote which ships with the old BS8/A8, will control the volume and skip tracks on the Playmaker?
Reason: my Beo4 in the room with my BV10-32 is set to a low frequency, so not to turn on the BV11-46 in the adjacent room. Sometimes the Beo4 is too far from the PM to affect the volume.
I remember when I owned a BS8, the little remote would control the sound on my BS4, mimicking basic functions of the Beo4, so perhaps it will control the PM, Essence-style!
Anyone have both a PM and a BS8, so they can test for me?

I bet a lot of people who bought A8's don't even use the remote, shame you can't locate someone who has one in a drawer not being used.

Worse....I gave away (yes, gave away) my BS8 and iPad 2 a few weeks ago, along with my remote, when I upgraded to the BC2/BL18 combo!
Call me when you plan to upgrade your current system ;-)
