Hi

Thinking about doing this.  My 7 comes with motorised floor stand and 7.4 central speaker as well as blu-ray player

It is in immaculate condition.  How much should I expect in a trade-in deal against a 55'' 11 on top of the £1300 allowance provided by Bang & Olufsen?

I don't know but unless its £1k+ I think you'd be better off selling it privately and donating a scrap TV as the trade-in model - the Mk.4 is still pretty desirable.

I concur with this. I know someone who would be interested in a MK4 BV7-40 and there are few available on the pre-loved market. Trade it in and you won't get very much at all (£1K+, as the poster says above), but sell it privately and you might get around £2K.

Erm, GBP. No-one said Euros. But it was an example! ie. he can definitely get more privately than via dealer trade-in.

For a bv 7 40 mk4 with dvb hd , he could resell it more than 3000 euros.

4 beolab 5,  beolab 9, beolab 10, beolab 5000, beolab 8000 mk2, beolab 6002, beolab 3500, beovision 7 55 mk2,  2 beovision 11 46 mk4, beotime, beosound ouverture, beosound essence, beoplay A8, beomaster 900 RG de luxe and the collection continues...

2000,00£ are 2400,00 euro. Always too low.

For this article I think 3000/3500 £.

I had a two year old 7/55 with very low hrs on it. I was thinking of part exchanging for another set and the answer I got was the 7/55 was to new give a price by a dealer and he offered a stupid price which was abit of an insult..let's just say on his price he would make 6 to 7k profit. Hmm and still be cheaper than a new set.

I went to another dealer and got realistic price which was fair and another tv!

Keep the 7, or get a bigger one unless you really need a flat screen.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
