Guys, I have 3 LC2's. None of them react to touch. Remote works fine.
I can't imagine that 3 LC2's different years would all quit work to the touch.
Is it a setting fault?
My old LC1 still works fine to the touch.
Too long to list....
The touch function wears off after a while - it is a known issue.
However, it can easily be fixed by retracing the "spider web" - have done it myself but now I cannot remember what the "paint" I have used is called - maybe "chrome lead" or something like that. Bought it on eBay for like 3 GBP.
There is no setting to deactivate the touch to my knowledge.

Interesting, thanks. I'll try and google it.
This is what I used - even cheaper - 1.26 GBP from Hong Kong:

One is enough for all three, and you probably only need to fill in the trace from the spiderweb to the base.
(before you begin you should also make sure that the touch is working by pressing the rubber tube with your finger - i.e. remove the black ball while the lamp is still connected)
