I just got a lovely MX5500 and VX5500 that were in excellent working order when I went and looked at them at the sellers house. I have now brought them home and I had a bit of trouble with the MX5500, it had some discolouration at the top of the screen. In an effort to degauss the set, I went ploughing into the service menu by shorting the pins on the back. Like a fool I then fiddled with every setting to see what it did!
The good news is fiddling with them has fixed the degaussing problem, the bad news is my screen is now a very odd shape!
I was just wondering if anyone has some basic default values for the set that I could use as a reference to then start adjusting them to my liking?
