When Pioneer, Onkyo and the like release AV receivers with WiSA support, will B&O's wireless speakers work with them?

Yes.

I think thats pretty much the point of the WISA standard, that you can mix and match compatible products from suppliers who have signed up.

I don't know how bass management etc will work, or if the other brand receivers will allow you to tell the receiver what type of speaker is connected.  You would imagine that they will recognise the speaker type in the same way that e.g. a BV11 does.

With some decent marketing they should be able to sell a lot of speakers.

Yes they do support 3rd party. If you don't want to wait for the first receivers, pair your favorite current receiver with the transmitter 1 and you are set to go.

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there

Well that is cool!

That should position B&O very well in the market since they have a fine lineup of active speakers.

I think a lot of the crowd who buy expensive amplifiers and speakers might consider to connect their fancy high-end receiver wirelessly to an active B&O speaker instead of by wire to a passive B&W speaker.

And for me personally, this is how I will finally get surround on my speakers, without having to buy a B&O TV.
