Hi,
I replaced the batteries on my phone. Since then I haven´t been able to register it to the base.
I´ve checked that the red light in the base is flashing and then clicked OK to register the handset to the base. The searching process invariably takes a couple minutes and comes back asking if you want to register the handset to the base.
I´ve reset my 2 line phone by pressing 9#9#9*HOLD
Tried again a few times with no success.
Any suggestions please?
Are you positive it's not asking if you want to register *another* handset to the base?
It's possible the base has the maximum number of handsets registered to it. Resetting the base to factory default would clear this but you can't do this unless you have a handset registered to it.
Also, whenever you replace the battery you're supposed to 'tell' the handset that it has a new battery by pressing 9#9#9*655 Then press the center button and it should beep to acknowledge the command.
I only have one handset. I´ve changed the battery and will input the sequence to have the phone acknowledge it has a new battery. Charging and need 4 hours. Will get back to you. Thanks!
Tried the sequence new battery by pressing 9#9#9*655 then pressing OK, but the phone won´t accept it. When I click OK it keeps searching for the base. Any other suggestions? Help!
You stated: "I´ve reset my 2 line phone by pressing 9#9#9*HOLD". This in itself will NOT reset anything. What did you do after entering that command?
Any idea on how to reset it without the input from the phone? Thanks!
I sent you a PM.
