I have bought a beosound system with beolab 2500 loudspeakers. I bought it used. The glasplate funktion does´nt seem to Work. I opens, when you get close, but i does' nt quite close, when you turn of the cd player og the system. I don´t think this is normal. When is it supposed to close? If it is a deficiency, how can you fix it or what do i do wrong?
First of all, congratulations on Your new system.
Please exlain a little bit more the problem. If the glass doors opens fine, then they should close, any other case they should remain premanently open. The two cases you mentioned are not closing the doors immediately, the doors closing after a short time. This is the regular way, there is no way to immediaely close the doors.

It opens when it detects your hand; it closes when it no longer detects your hand. You can also get it to close by pressing the red dot on the remote.
They don´t close or they close only halfway. They open normally.
