Hi,

I have little problem with my new Beosound 3000. I just get Beosound 3000 as used so it has old settings in. I have connected ML/MCL (driving old passive Pentas) via powerlink cable. In Beosound 3000 volume buttons don't do anything. If I press SOUND button, display say USE TV. So if I understand right, Beosound is in option mode 0? I do not have Beo4 yet. So is it possible to change mode any otherway? Beosound service manual mentioned about "test mode" and there is that TM31 which should return Beosound to "factory defaults" or as the manual says: default settings for sale purpose. Of course then it would lose every settings in memory (radio stations, CD names, timer, ...) but is it safe to reset Beosound? I¨m little impatient to wait my Beo4 which can take 2-3 weeks.

Can't you take it to a dealer? Or borrow a beo4?
