Hello Everyone,

I have bought a beo vision 10-46 black edition last year for our summer house. In total we have not used it more than  48 hours. Yesterday i switched the tv on and after an hour  suddenly there were white couldy patches apperaring in few places of the screen. İ thought it was from the movie i was watching but when i switched the tv off it was still there! As i got closer to examine what it was i realised that while the tv was off the white couldy patches started dissapearing and after hour or so it was totaly gone. What do you think is to be causing this problem??? This is very upsetting as the tv was not even used for many hours:( please see the photo i took as well.

regards.

How is the climate where your summer house is located?

Are the rooms heated regularly? Humidity?

Maybe you should use the tv more often Smile

MM

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Hi and welcome to beoworld. I can't see your picture very well. But from what you describe it sounds like steam or condensation. I used to have my beovision 6-26 in my bedroom and whenever I used my ensuite (with no door separating) approx 10m away it would cloud up given half hour or pulling the glass front forward to allow air in would get rid of this. Not ideal and extremely annoying. I also had a 7-32 in a conservatory in a house I was renting. The people who built the conservatory left the kitchen extractor pumping into there and that used to do the same. The only thing you could really do is try to use at least once a week to try to stop a build up of moisture inside the tv which obviously can't be good. Or if it's still under warranty and has only done48hrs I would be contacting my dealer. Hope this helps.
