Hello there,

i have a beovision 3 which has a dead crt and isn't in the best of condition.

I am going to remove the crt part of the tv and use the base/back which contains the boards etc and close up the top with some plastic.

Is there a way to get a feed from the tv to see what would have been seen on screen ie: volume and menu settings etc on an external display (ie: the projector i will be using).

I will also use the speakers and box them to make a centre channel fed from the tv also.

Thanks in advance!

Simplest way I know of is to replace the CRT.

I have a crt i could put in it but i dont want that, i want to make it into a beosystem type av processor where all the sources and speakers can be plugged into it. as i use a projector and would like to have it setup like that.

BeoVision 5 with practically same chassis used to have vga output for plasma display so I would start by looking into BV5 servicemanual and figure out what needs to be changed to gain vga out.
