I've had my 1800 since new (1984) and need to change the belt on it. The only problem is that part of it is under the main deck where it needs to go around a capstan. How do i get under there?
Losen one screw each side from below and lift up the upper aluminum surface.There is a connector for the buttons, make sure not to trap the wires when closing again.
