Doesn't there come a point when you've overdone the special edition thing?  Hmm

A friend of mine in the motor industry always used to say 'if their bringing out special editions, sales must really be flagging' . But that was 20 years ago and he was talking about Austin Metros

Pity the poor dealer, is he/she expected to keep 9 versions of the H6 in stock now? Especially bad if they aren't selling...

I was happy with the choice of black or tan, but then headphones aren't a fashion statement to me. When I got my Form 2s I picked truly exotic black as a color.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad

Contrary to belief the limited editions actually sell out. I hated the Agave green.... they sold out. I hated the World Cup blue..... they sold out. If anything they push the sales of the H6 overall on all colors.

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there

Special edition cars are produced in batches to simplify complexity of part scheduling . The irony is people think they are more exclusive .

one thing with sales is to convince people to think they might miss out if they don't hurry. These headphones may not be available for ever . Not like the tasteful standard editions!

Beo Century ,Beoplay V1, Beocenter 6, Ex-Beolit 12, Beotime , A8. Beolit 15 , Form 2i , Beolab 2000, Beoplay A3.Beosound 1

I know someone who has started collecting the different versions of the H6!!

So much so that he has two of each variant, one BNIB, for the "true" collector and the other opened and displayed in a hardwood modular stacking display system he has designed and commissioned for the sole purpose.  He put the DJ Kahled version on the top shelf so that the awful text on the headband can't be seen.

His wife has left him and the cat has moved next door!

Err,................. sorry - I just made all that up!!

Ban boring signatures!

Sold out to dopey dealers who took them as samples!! Not to end users.

I think because of the same profile? The wife is still with him (38 years so I've heard) and I hate cats ( not really).
