Why so few homemade videos with b&o products are available?

Hi

When I see so many people ready to post a picture of their b&o product, I wonder why there are so few video of good quality of the different tv and loudspeaker.

Even if the audio quality is not as good as reality, the whole impression made by a b&o product in use will help and give an idea to potential customers, in particular if the setup is beautifull.

Please, if you have a clean installation take your cam and make a video of it and post it where you want (youtube, dailymotion, vimeo...).

There is a tv - and there is a BV.

I said clean installation MM. I will post mine on youtube when everything will be at its place.

I am not the kind of guy who stays behind and push the others.

Unless there's movement involved (a la new Avant stand) why take a video of what are ostensibly stationary objects?

I wasn't saying that  - but pushing ahead is the best way to get other people going.

To me the clean/polished presentation is not first priority - more interesting is the personal touch in the setup.

Beware - not everybody has enough space/room at home to make a descent video.

Pictures will do it too.

Good idea.  I think what you're saying is instead of pictures, sometimes you get a better feel if you see the product in the environment.  It is sort of a pintrest thing I think.

Happy to make one and see how it goes.

Well I tried uploading an iPhone movie via the web client which after a long time I had to interrupt.

Probably a good thing as I expect neither Keith nor Lee had planned or funded us putting videos on the Beoworld servers !

The most important things is that the video :

- is not realised by michael bay otherwise i think it will be hard to watch it

- the tv or speakers should be in use with an appropriate music. When I say appropriate music I mean a music that most of people would like to listen and are suitable to the speakers.

- long enough, not less than 3 or 5 mn. It depends of the song.

- when you record it you try to find the best position of recording like you would do for your listening

- the video should be reachable by googling. That´s why I spoke about youtube, dailymotion or viméo.

For stereo listening, two completely differents music can be used, the way you plug and use your player can be showed (b&o or not b&o)

For tv, the opening, the move of the stand and tv can be shown. It is also interesting to have the results when you select the different option for audio when you have a 5.1.

That´s just some idea. I am sure that a talented film director would have better ideas.
