Hideous Buzzing Sound

On reconnecting my speakers to my V1 after moving, the front right channel emits a hideous sound like very loud mains hum or when you touch the end of a lead plugged into an amp. I've confirmed it isn't a problem with the speaker as I swapped it with the left side and the same thing happened. It could be coming from 1 of three places:

At Source: V1

Powerlink Splitter box

RJ45->Powerlink cable

Later I will isolate each thing above and try and identify the source of the noise but I was just wondering if anybody else had any ideas. Luckily the V1 is still under warranty but I'd like to sort it myself if it's something trivial.
