Hi,
We are working on an install where a third party has supplied a number of Beovision screens (mainly 12-65 and 4-85) with Beosystem 3s.
They have been working fine from Beo4 remotes but we have recently had some odd problems just start happening.
Firstly, IR control from the remote stops working for no apparent reason. Originally we have reset the option settings in the Beo4 and also boosting the IR power but that does not automatically fix the problem. We have noticed that the IR will work if the remote is close to the receiver.
There are no obvious sources of IR interference and the remotes have been working fine for some time. We have tried different remotes and changed batteries etc.
Any ideas on what could be happening?
Secondly, on one of the BV 4-85 units we have lost the ability to configure DTV. We can switch to DTV OK. Pressing MENU gives you the DTV menu but the DTV option which takes you to the channel list is greyed out. The tuner is enabled. Again, any ideas would be most appreciated.
