If you had told me a few months ago that one day I would have bought a 6000 € TV, I would have told to you that I am not in love at that point to spent so much money for a LCD screen.

But after I bought the beosound 5 Encore and the OPPO bluray, there was something missing in my little setup. So, as anyone of us, I searched, web, magazines, forums, and I red, thousands of posts, reviews, new technologies for uncertain future, and then I had a choice to do.

B&O or not B&O ?

Common sense told me Panasonic, the new plasma screen, one of the best on the market, go for it, only 1800 € !

But a little voice told me " You will regret it, no integration at all, still be oblidged to pass trough a small DAC to connect it to my BM7000 since there is just a opltical OUT,.. Multiple remotes again, bad sound,... In brief, Nothing solved.

Then another little voice told me about a beosystem 3 that could handle my panasonic screen. A good idea, but still some intergrations probs, on-off of he screen, ...

So I red, again, our beloved forum, search in all directions on the archived posts, and a third little voice told me "have a look at the beovision 7-40".

And Then, after reading a lot, again, I went back into my B&O Store and ask for a demo. the "love at first sight" effect was not there at the first on the picture quality, but after a second, and a third visit, I came to the point that this was the solution I was searching for.

So, I bought it last saturday.

Why do I told you all that ?

Because since weeks I see on this forum technical fight around the new V1 and a lot about B&O survival. My feeling is that It will survive, and one of the reason is that we all buy this brand because it touch our heart before our brain...

I will let you know my feeling when it will hang on my wall within a few weeks, maybee my common sense was right, but I hope all the little voices were of better advices

I am on the exact situation. I already have a BV7-32 since 2006, but i keep visiting my dealer for BV7-40 3D. I liked the picture quality, but still no big fan of 3D even after i watched some minutes on it.

I am fighting with myself. Dealer knows that and made me a very good price offer i think.

BV7-403D, NO blu-ray(since i have external), with DVB-T, with motorized floor stand, with VAT..... 7200Euros. Not bad i believe... but still hesitating
