I have motiver that when playing a record and I put ny ear very close to the PU, I can hear music from the PUi itself. Is this normal?
I assume PU is the Pick-Up...
It's completely normal to hear the music from the pick-up.. all stylus and cartridges do this.. some are louder than others. It's just the way they work...

Thanks for your Quick answer :)
As 'Lee' has said, this is quite normal. If you play the Beogram without the amp on, you will hear it quite clearly to the extent that you should be able to identify the music. It's just the transfer of the vibrations. All the amp effectively does is amplify that vibration and convert it to sound from the speakers.
No need to worry.
Dave.
You've now discovered why amplifiers and speakers are needed.

And BTW, would a weight clamp improve the overall sound?
No.It would prevent the suspension from doing its job as intended and put a damaging axial load on the main bearing.
