Hi,

Is there any way to disable scart control on an MX7000? When I turn my TV and Xbox 360 off at the same time, the TV powers back on when the console shuts down.

Also, is there a way to turn the picture off and have sound only.

Thanks.

With a BEO4 remote, if you can add it - 'P-mute' might work.  It does for other TV's but I don't know of it's the same for the MX7000?

Thanks for replying, Dave.

That didn't work unfortunately.

Have you got 'P-Mute' on your BEO4?  On some versions it's not available.

Dave.

Hi,

'Picture Mute' won't disable the automatic switching to SCART. It's just to mute the picture but the sound would play.

In your case there's the problem that the XBOX keeps the SCART switching signal a bit longer so that the MX7000 reacts on the switching signal an powers up again.

I don't see a solution for your problem except switching off the XBOX first, wait a few seconds and then put your MX 7000 into standby.
